If I had to categorize it, I would say it straddles the line between YA and adult uneasily. I’m having a blast writing it.įor those of you who have been worrying-the trilogy is not YA. There’s a different feel to the two series, totally different vantage points. Where Mac was introspective and her story could feel somewhat esoteric, Dani is down and dirty in the streets. Each installment in the trilogy is a stand-alone mystery, however there are larger plot arcs unfolding in the background. I’m currently working on a trilogy that features Dani, Christian MacKeltar, Ryodan, and the mysterious ‘Dancer,’ set primarily in Fever-Dublin.

This one looks to be about Jericho and Mac againīecause I keep getting this question, I’ve realized I’ve obviously not answered it to your satisfaction:) I’m going to post here and ask that you all help me in spreading the word around. Iced: A Dani O’Malley Novel (Fever Series #6) (This is supposedly NOT YA! (see below)) Shadowfever(A MacKayla Lane Novel) (Fever Series #5)įever Moon: The Fear Dorcha (Graphic Novel: Fever #5.5) This is a 16 page sex scene in Barron’s POV on Karen Marie Moning’s website. She is soon faced with an even greater challenge: staying alive long enough to learn how to handle a power she had no idea she possessed–a gift that allows her to see beyond the world of man, into the dangerous realm of the Fae…īarronfever: The Alpha Alternative: JZB Sex Scene (Fever Series 1.5) The quest to find her sister’s killer draws her into a shadowy realm where nothing is as it seems, where good and evil wear the same treacherously seductive mask.

When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death–a cryptic message on Mac’s cell phone–Mac journeys to Ireland in search of answers. Or so she thinks… until something extraordinary happens.

In other words, she’s your perfectly ordinary twenty-first-century woman. She has great friends, a decent job, and a car that breaks down only every other week or so. This is a hugely beloved series, and with Iced coming out in 2 weeks, I had to get it on this blog.ĭescription From Goodreads: MacKayla Lane’s life is good. Crazy shit goes on like you can’t imagine. It is a little scarier than books I read, and the books have cliffhangers, but it is one of the most engrossing, unique series I have ever read. But The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning came so highly recommended to me, I had to read it. I like paranormal books, but I prefer ones that take place in our world with the Vampires and Werewolves hiding in plain sight.
